WellBeing Weight Management

Maintaining a healthy weight is a lifestyle, not a diet. If you’ve struggled to lose weight, exercised regularly without seeing the results you expect, or just want the support to make weight loss permanent, you’ll benefit from the WellBeing Weight Management Program.

Research shows you need to combine nutrition, physical activity and lifestyle changes to lose weight and keep it off.  WellBeing gives you the tools and support you need to break the diet cycle, take control of your weight and make healthy decisions a part of your everyday life!

Straight-Forward Rate
$199/month, or $499 for 3 months



What it Includes


Gym Membership

Membership at the Center for Health and Fitness (CHF), the most comprehensive fitness center in the South Bay, is included in your WellBeing program. You’ll have access to a state-of-the-art gym, yoga, Pilates, massage, a variety of fun classes for people of all ages and physical conditions and professional instructors with college degrees in health-related disciplines.

Initial Nutrition Consultation
You will meet with CHF’s registered dietitian and receive a complete nutrition assessment, including a detailed analysis of your medical history, diet and lifestyle habits. Together you’ll develop an action plan tailored to meet your individual wellness needs.

Polar Assessment (50 min.)
You’ll meet with one of our highly qualified personal trainers to discuss your exercise history and perform a fitness assessment. One additional Polar Assessment will follow to track your fitness progress.

Follow-up Nutrition Consultations
You will meet again with CHF’s registered dietitian to perform a follow-up nutrition assessment, track your progress and make modifications to your plan where necessary.

Personal Training
You will have four (4) 50-minute personal training sessions where your personal trainer will show you new exercise strategies to help you achieve your personal fitness goals and develop a customized exercise plan.

Wellcoaching
You will schedule meetings with a WellBeing coach at a mutually agreed-upon time.

You will meet with a WellBeing coach to review your diet/exercise journal and goals. These visits will focus on assessing your progress, answering questions and making any necessary adjustments to your plans.

Group Educational Classes
Group educational classes will provide insights on nutrition, fitness, and resources to create healthy lifestyle changes. Orientation sessions will be offered on a monthly basis for new WellBeing participants (based upon demand). You are encouraged to participate in all classes. Classes will be held in the Beach Cities Room (located on the lower level) on the first and fourth Tuesday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Group Training
Physical activity is a critical component to weight loss. You’ll participate in monthly group training sessions, designed especially for WellBeing participants to help you meet the recommended requirements for moderate and vigorous physical activity. Classes will be held in the Center for Health and Fitness on the second and third Tuesday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Different classes will be offered.

Fitness Partner
To help you stay accountable on your journey to wellbeing, find a WellBeing participant, a friend or a family member who can work out with you on a weekly basis for support.
